Re/insurer IQUW has launched its new Ports and Terminals insurance coverage product, providing protection for bodily loss or harm to marine property, cargo dealing with tools, enterprise interruption, and third-party liabilities.
It aligns with IQUW’s “clever underwriting” pledge, utilizing knowledge insights, automation, and evaluation for preliminary danger assessments and various views.
The Ports and Terminals insurance coverage initiative is being spearheaded by Ali Welchman, who has greater than ten years of expertise within the sector.
Working out of London, Welchman has been tasked with creating a world Ports and Terminals guide.
Beforehand, he was a senior underwriter for transport and logistics at Markel Worldwide.
Welchman will report back to Phil Furlong, deputy lively underwriter, head of Marine, Vitality, and Aviation at IQUW.
